The ERT CoSSICLE is pleased to announce a workshop in collaboration with researchers from the Holon Institute of Technology, Israel. The workshop features contributions that focus on the theoretical background and empirical findings on CSCL scripts to first set the stage for participants of different backgrounds (educational practitioners and researchers of educational science, educational psychology or computer science). Second, analyses of given languages or platforms for CSCL scripts will be discussed. Third, participants will create scripts that they will be able to use in their own settings with different types of languages and platforms. The workshop is part of the pre-conference events of the CSCL 2007.

May, 2nd, 2005 - First Deliverable published

Our first deliverable D 29.1.1, documenting our website and shared workspace, was finalized and published last week. The deliverable serves as a showcase for organizing cross-institutional collaboration with web-based tools and is made publicly available on our resources page. The document provides detailed information on design and implementation issues as well as a description on the rationale/usage of all features, such as public presentation, internal communication, document sharing, and document editing.

March, 21st, 2005 - Offical Website launched

Our website and shared workspace was finally launched. It makes use of a sophisticated groupware system developed here in Tübingen featuring user management, mailing list management, hosting of the message archive, a newsfeed on recent changes/additions as well as a shared document repository with version tracking. As this website and shared workspace is our first deliverable, a detailed documentation is in work and will be made available soon.

March, 17th, 2005 - Mailing List in Use

We started using a mailing list for internal communication now. Besides facilitating user management, it's main advantage is the automatic archiving of messages. Thus, new ERT members can follow-up on our discussion so far by reading the messages in the members-only area of our website. As this mailing list serves internal communication purposes only, its address will not be disclosed to the public. If you wish to get in touch with us, please refer to our contact information page.
